Purchasing Manager

PRIMARY FUNCTION

In conjunction with the Vice President of Worldwide Purchasing, coordinates the development of Truck-Lite strategic direction/planning for all direct material purchases for Truck-Lite US to ensure corporate procurement strategies/business plans are followed.

Manages the development of purchasing contracts and agreements and negotiations on large productive pricing contracts.

Manages strategic agreements with “Key” suppliers.

Leads improvement efforts in supply chain efficiency.

Plastics Supervisor

PRIMARY FUNCTION

- 1st Shift - Directs, supervises, and coordinates all production processes in the molding department.

Responsible for setting up, adjusting and improving plastic injection molding processes.

Trains employees and acts as shift training coordinator for all training programs.

Supervises employees in a manufacturing plant.

Appraises employee job performance, coaches, develops employee skills, manages conflict and issues corrective discipline to employees as needed.

Purchasing Agent

PRIMARY FUNCTION

Develops and maintains a competitive vendor network.

Ensures timely quotations and cost estimates for new parts.

Negotiates pricing, terms, and special programs with suppliers.

Works with vendors to relay technical information to Truck-Lite Engineering to ensure that supplied parts consistently meet specified requirements.

Identifies root causes for quality issues and monitor vendor’s corrective actions.

Manages assigned New Product Introduction projects for the Purchasing Department, as assigned.

Quality Engineer

PRIMARY FUNCTION

Lead focus teams to help develop Advance Quality Planning (APQP) documentation such as DFMEA/PFMEAs/Control Plans and Inspection Plans.

Manage customer quality relationships including customer concerns and response, customer quality measures and submission of PPAPs.

Analyze, report and facilitate corrective actions or improvements to attain/maintain favorable ratings regarding quality, delivery or other applicable requirements.

Sr. Supplier Quality Engineer

PRIMARY FUNCTION

Leads efforts to resolve all supplier quality issues regarding parts and components.

Evaluates and qualifies potential suppliers via site visits or through supplier self-survey information.

Supports efforts to qualify new suppliers through quality audits.

Responsible for proper evaluation and approval of Supplier 8D’s.

Establishes and maintains effective supplier quality performance tracking and reporting.

Assistant Supervisor

PRIMARY FUNCTION

- 5 openings for various shifts - 

From knowledge of schedules and production requirements, plans production work and makes assignments to accomplish requirements.

Provides instruction and follow-up on the use of the proper methods of performing work assignments.

Understands all method specifications quality requirements and instructs and corrects operators to optimize workmanship and product quality.

Monitors employee attendance, tardiness and job performance. Submits related reporting as required.

Warehouse Manager

PRIMARY FUNCTION

Responsible for all aspects of warehouse management. To include but not limited to the following:

Directs, coordinates and oversees all incoming dock operations including: schedules, controls deliveries, unloading operations, damage and claim information gathering.

Directs, coordinates and oversees incoming quality assurance audits including: verification, identification, count, quantity, vendor, purchase order and discrepancy information.

Maintains inventory accuracy to company goal.

Materials Planner

PRIMARY FUNCTION

Primary Materials Planner for the Molding department in the Falconer, NY facility.

Support the Logistics department with quoting and setting up deliveries.

Plan and monitor reusable and returnable packaging between Truck-Lite, customers and vendors.

Manage the reconciliation of Truck-Lite owned inventory at subcontractor’s locations.

Manage purchase orders and work orders to support production schedules and customer demand.

Corporate Planning Manager

PRIMARY FUNCTION

Support the development and execution of the Company’s inventory plans, the establishment of inventory targets, and the tracking, control, and reporting of inventory data. 

Oversee production planning process for Material Planning Department, with direct supervision for material planners

Review Material Planner execution for inventory management, past due, DOH, excess and other measurements. Work with Material Planners to hit targets and continuously improve processes.
