Supports Customer Concerns / Warranty Manager with involvement that includes but is not limited to: direct communications with assigned customers, customer visits, and leads customer corrective actions.

Develops and maintains quality specifications, inspection/test methods, instructions, and procedures for products produced at Falconer.

Monitors process quality metrics and works directly with process engineers on identification, implementation and qualification of process improvement projects.

Act as operations quality representative as required on cross functional New Product Implementation Teams.

Coordinates and maintains corrective action database for Falconer Manufacturing Facility, lead corrective action teams as assigned, Part Process documentation (i.e. control plans, work center sheets, etc.), QTE samples/requisitions, work requests, ECN Deviations, and quality home page.

Train, coach, and supervise quality technicians and inspectors at the Falconer manufacturing facility.

Participates in daily manufacturing review meetings and weekly facility management review meetings.

Supports/Participates in TS 16949 Audits and future IATF 16949 audits.

Oversees gage calibration system for the Falconer Facility.

Reviews customer returns and determines root cause of failures.

Coordinate/maintains internal and external PPAP/NPI documentation.

Reviews, evaluates, disposition, and resolves internal rejections.



Position requires 2 to 4 year engineering degree, plus minimum 3 to 5 years manufacturing work experience.  Specific Skills and/or Experience with Software, Equipment follow:

Software - MS Office, Minitab, candidates with JD Edwards experience is a plus.  Experience - APQP, ISO/TS 16949, 8D, 5 Why Root Cause Analysis, PPAP, Internal Auditor Training (desirable), and Statistical Problem Solving Techniques (desirable), and demonstrated communications with customers.
