With our acquisition of our Birmingham UK facility in 2001, we entered the market for heavy-duty commercial vehicle mirror systems and currently offer a broad selection of mirror systems for use principally on heavy-duty commercial trucks for both original equipment and aftermarket use. Our mirror business complements our core lighting systems business as they share many of the same customers, allowing us to leverage our lighting systems sales infrastructure, and increasing incorporate lighting elements in their design. Our advanced manufacturing technologies, such as our proprietary gas-assist system, has enabled us to better service our North American and European OEM customers.

REGULATIONS VARIANCES
While the United States has few legal government regulations for mirrors, compliance is very different for ECE and USA, NHTSA, prompting Truck-Lite to provide options of varying specifications. OEMs have thorough mirror specifications, and harmonization of regulations is a future consideration.
