Job Description:
Develops and maintains a competitive vendor network.
Ensures timely quotations and cost estimates for new parts.
Negotiates pricing, terms and special programs with suppliers.
Works with vendors to relay technical information to Truck-Lite Engineering
to ensure that supplied parts consistently meet specified requirements.
Identifies root causes for quality issues and monitors vendor’s corrective actions.
Manages assigned New Product Introduction projects for the Purchasing Department, as assigned.
Audits suppliers and monitor performance.
Identifies and manages yearly productivity projects.
Position requires compliance with the Technology Control Plan and the Federal
Control Policy established for the Corporation.

Qualifications:
4 year degree in business or related degree. Coursework in business disciplines
to include accounting, finance, inventory control, and negotiation. Good communication and
project management skills. Knowledge of Access, Excel, and Word software, as well as,
Blueprint reading.
