61 Series, LED, Auxiliary, Brake-Activated Warning Light

61500R

Brake-activated warning lamps are amber in color and act as a Class II strobe (pulsate) for up to 4 seconds with each application of the brake, then steadily burn red for the duration of the time the brake circuit is activated. The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has granted vehicles operating trailer and van body trucks to install brake-activated pulsating lamps on the rear of their trailer in order to increase visibility and reduce the risk of rear-end collisions. See FMCSA-2020-0122 for more information.
