Develop and maintain quality specifications, work instructions, forms, inspection/test methods, and procedures.
Coordinate/maintain internal and external PPAP/NPI documentation and Sample Requisitions.
Coordinate and maintain the corrective action (CAR) system for McElhattan Manufacturing/ Distribution functions,
lead corrective action teams as assigned, Part Process documentation (i.e. control plans, work center sheets, etc.),
QTE samples/requisitions, work requests, ECN Deviations, and quality home page.
Monitor process quality metrics and work directly with process engineers on identification, implementation and
qualifications of process improvement projects.
Act as operations quality representative as required on cross functional New Product Implementation Teams.
Key Member of Plant Leadership Team w. mandatory participation in daily manufacturing review meetings and
weekly facility management review meetings.
Support/participate in IATF audits.
Oversee gage calibration system for the McElhattan facility.
Review customer returns and determine root cause of failures. Provide support on any customer issues/concerns.
Review, evaluates, disposition and resolves internal rejection.
Support facility ITAR/EAR responsibilities.
Fill in for Quality/RGA Technicians as required.
Supervises facility quality technician(s)
Travel as necessary to Customer Locations in US, Mexico, Canada.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline such as Engineering, Technical, or equivalent work experience.
3 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing operation with working knowledge of measurement tools.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word is required. Experience in AS400, JDE, BOSS inventory a plus.
Excellent communication and Leadership skills with the ability to interact with employees withing all levels of the
organization as well as customer representatives.
Responsible for analyzing facts or conditions to take regular independent action to achieve established goals or
